Mid-Autumn meals have a way of turning dinner into something warmer than usual. The lanterns come out, the moon feels like part of the table, and everyone suddenly has an opinion on the best festive treat.

This year, Madame Fù is adding something fresh to the season with an exclusive limited-time Mid-Autumn Festival menu, available only from 17 to 27 September.

The menu brings together three very different ideas: a spicy Southeast Asian take on a Chinese festive staple, a slow-simmered autumn soup with classic seasonal ingredients, and a soft salted egg-yolk cake roll inspired by the full moon. Together, they give the celebration a little heat, a lot of comfort, and a properly satisfying sweet finish.

Tom yum crayfish dumpling brings heat to tradition

Sticky rice dumplings are a staple in Chinese dim sum, known for their hearty, fragrant, and satisfying texture. Madame Fù's version maintains this comforting base while introducing Thai tom yum flavours and crayfish.

Tom yum adds citrusy brightness, chilli heat, and savoury depth, while crayfish contributes sweetness and a gentle seafood richness, enhancing the dumpling's character without overcomplicating it.

Autumn duck soup feels like the dish you settle into

After the brightness of tom yum, the Autumn Duck Soup with Chestnut and Aged Tangerine Peel brings the meal back to something slower and more soothing.

Duck's deep, savoury flavour excels in slow simmering, resulting in tender meat and a rich broth. Chestnuts add natural sweetness and a creamy texture, while aged tangerine peel introduces fragrance, slight bitterness, and a citrus note to enliven the soup.

Salted egg-yolk cake roll ends the meal on a golden note

A Mid-Autumn meal needs a sweet ending. Madame Fù’s Full Moon Salted Egg-Yolk Cake Roll takes the season’s most recognizable image, the round glowing moon, and turns it into a soft, golden dessert.

In this dessert, the salted egg yolk filling not only delivers a traditional mooncake taste but also ensures an enjoyable experience, while the sponge adds a light and airy texture that complements the richness of the filling.

A festive menu worth catching while it’s here
